Google Cloud India continued its collaboration with Indian startups, with a focus on AI-based innovations. Many Indian GenAI unicorns now leverage Google Cloud, highlighting a growing trend in the adoption of AI and cloud technologies among startups​

Google Cloud India unveiled its plans for deeper integration with Indian startups through AI-powered solutions on October 6, 2024. At the "Google for India" event, the company introduced the Gemini Agent Framework, which will enhance access to services across sectors like agriculture, skilling, and education.


The framework allows users to access listings and make seamless transactions using voice commands, supporting Indian languages.


Google Cloud revealed that 90% of GenAI unicorns in India now utilize its services, reflecting a growing reliance on cloud-based solutions among digital-native startups. Collaborating with the EkStep Foundation, Google also launched "DPI in a Box," a plug-and-play model for digital infrastructure, aiming to extend India's Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) architecture globally.
